Finance Associate

Gallego for Arizona seeks a Finance Associate to join a growing fundraising operation on a top-tier Senate race. This is an entry level position; ideal candidates will have an interest in learning the various parts of a national fundraising operation and have strong organizational skills.

Location: In-Office – Phoenix, AZ
Employment: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Salary Range: $4,000 to $5,000 per/mo
Reports To: Finance Director
Hours: This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle

Responsibilities

• Work with the Finance Director, Events Director and national fundraising team to manage event logistics. This includes but is not limited to: drafting invites, making event links, updating event trackers
• Coordinate donor research and prospecting with the Events Manager
• Oversee and manage Finance Interns
• Manage a robust donor acknowledgement program
• Other duties as assigned by the Finance Director

• Ability to meet key deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
• Excellent communication skills
• An interest in learning the various parts of a large-scale national fundraising program
